Self reflection of lab report

The lab report was about three bananas, which were preserved in three different temperatures, to check which storage temperature was most convenient to keep banana from ripen. I have never done any experiment using banana. I have never thought about what happens to banana if it will be preserved in the refrigerator and in the freezer. I always keep banana on the kitchen countertop. While finished this experiment, I was curious to see the results four days later in the refrigerator. It was soft inside, smelly, rotted, and color transferred from yellow to black. I got amazed to see that result. This is especially because other fruits such as: apples, grapes, pears, mango, and etc. stays fresh longer in the refrigerator. It was an opposite case for banana. I did a little research on this matter to understand why it is different for the banana. It is because banana is a tropical fruit and it stays fresh or in ripe stage if it will be preserved in the room temperature but in the cool temperature banana’s peel enzymes leak out of the cells, and it causes the banana’s skin to turn completely black. This was an amazing experience to see three different results. I have also learned how to write lab reports in a right format. As I have said before English is not my mother language, that is why every time I find it challenging to organize my writings. Although, it is good for me to learn new things. I have noticed that I did mistakes in my draft. I went to the writing center to rectify mistakes as much as possible. I am a regular visitor in the English writing center. Tutors help me to point out my mistakes and gives me idea how to fix those problems to meet professor’s requirement. Whenever I fix my mistakes I learn what is right and what is wrong, it makes me happy that at least I am trying to meet my professor’s requirement.
